9:00 am Offering flowers, candles and incense sticks to the Buddha

9:00 – 9:30 am Chanting, prayers and teaching

9:30 – 10:00 am Offering foods, money flower trees and materials to the monk

11:30 – 12:00 pm Refreshment/lunch and closing the ceremony

Cambodian Kan Ben and Bon Pchum Ben 2026
Ceremony Schedule

The Kan Ben and Bon Pchum Ben period will begin on Sunday 27 September 2026 (Ben 1) and continue until Saturday 10 October 2026 (Ben 14). Sunday 11 October is the Bon Pchum Ben Day.

6:30 PM: Opening ceremony with monk chanting to mark the start of Kan Ben and Bon Pchum Ben.
Sun 11 October 2026 Bon Pchum Ben Day

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Chanting, taking precepts, and a sermon from the Sangha

10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Offering food to the monks

12:00 PM: Lunch for all participants
